sewing with leather

This is a chic match bag. It´s a little too chic for me though. I guess, a little too romantic looking as well. But the more I look at it, the better I like it. The bottom and lower sides are leather, very nice and soft leather, surprisingly easy to sew with my machine. I had it waiting here for such a long time, now, finally it has found its destination. Using the left over pieces of leather, I put the handle in place. The combination of Amy Butler fabric and leather turned out to be a good match.

Recently I ordered another piece of leather, it´s waiting in line now to get under the machine.
